BY CAR
Due to the remote location, car is the most convenient form of transport. The most direct route from the south is via Blairgowrie on the A93. Spittal of Glenshee is approx 35 miles and 1 hour by car from Perth. From the north Spittal can be reached from A9 at Pitlochry via Enochdhu and Bridge of Cally. From the north-east the approach is on the A93 via Braemar and the Glenshee Ski resort. PLEASE NOTE all of these roads are narrow, twisty and hilly – they will take much longer than you anticipate!
BY TRAIN
Both Perth and Dundee stations are approximately an hour away. Pitlochry is about 45 minutes. There is a very limited bus service from Perth to Spittal of Glenshee

The nearest major airport is Dundee which is about an hour away whilst both Edinburgh and Aberdeen Airports are about one and a half hours away.
